About the Neuropterists' Directory: Companies (Index)
The goal of the Neuropterists' Directory project is to compile an accurate and up-to-date listing of "directory information" about individuals and companies interested in neuropterid insects (orders Neuroptera, Megaloptera and Raphidioptera). To facili tate maintenance and distribution of the directory, it will be compiled and maintained as one or more web "pages" posted to one or more servers that are publicly accessible over the World Wide Web. The directory is a joint project of John D. Oswald and Pe ter McEwen. John D. Oswald is principally responsible for the solicitation and maintenance of data on individual neuropterists. Peter McEwen is principally responsible for the solicitation and maintenance of data on commercial entities offering neuropteri d-related products and services, and personnel associated with these entities.
The information contained in the directory is the most recent information known to us as of the "Last Modified" dates of the individual pages. We cannot, and do not, guarantee that this information is either 100% accurate or current. Under "Last Update :" we give the last date on which any part of the information for that entry was added or changed. This is an approximate indication of the currency of individual directory entries. If you use and find this directory helpful, please help us maintain it by periodically checking to see that your information is current and by contributing any information about communications numbers and addresses known to you that are lacking in the directory. How to Add or Update an Entry in the Neuropterists' Directory (Index)
Please Help! us keep the information in this directory comprehensive and up-to-date. To have your company added to the directory, or to update your company's directory information, follow the instructions below:
(1) using your web browser, "select" the text of the blank Neuropterists' Directory: Companies Information Form given below,
(2) make a "copy" [Netscape Navigator: Edit, Copy] of the text,
(3) click on the following blue-highlighted text: send and e-mail message to Peter McEwen [an e-mail dialog box will open],
(4) "paste" [Netscape Navigator: Edit, Paste] a copy of the form into the large message area of the dialog box,
(5) fill in the blank information fields on the form; imitate the information field formats given in the completed directory entry shown immediately below the blank form (you may want to temporarily copy the completed sample entry into your e-mail message
also, so that you don't have to keep changing windows to check the information field formats); fill in only the areas that apply to your company; do not leave the "fax", "e-mail" or "home page" fields blank, if you do not have a fax number, an e-mail add
ress or a home page enter "none" in these fields; if you are submitting partial new information, for example to correct or update your company's information, or to fill in missing information in your company's entry, please copy the complete form into you
r e-mail message, then, after filling in all of the fields that should be changed, enter "n/a" on all of the other lines (this way we will know that you have left certain lines blank on purpose, and we will not have to contact you to verify that something
went wrong in the e-mail message transfer process; finally, fill in the e-mail "subject" line with something appropriate,
(6) click on the send button [Netscape Navigator: the "flying envelope" in the upper left-hand corner]
