The internship is complemented by a trip to Mexico City that Andy participated in through the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program in March 1998. This will not be his first time to go to Washington, D.C. As a junior in high school, during the Spring of 1994, he was a delegate to the National 4-H Conference. Andy said he enjoyed his time in Washington, then, and is excited about the opportunity to return.
