Contributors Chris Sansone Dr. Chris Sansone is Department of Entomology Associate Head for Extension Programs and is responsible for Extension's entomology program in San Angelo and administrative duties to Extension's statewide entomology program. He has been headquartered at San Angelo as the Extension entomologist for District 7 since 1996. Prior to moving to San Angelo, Sansone served as the Extension Integrated Pest Management agent for Williamson and Milam counties from 1981 to 1995. Sansone, an associate professor, earned three degrees in entomology from Texas A&M - a bachelor's degree in 1977, a master's degree in 1981 and a doctorate in 1997. Sansone's honors include Outstanding Extension Agent-Entomology (Pest Management) Award from the Texas Pest Management Association in1989; Best Radio Tape Series Award by Extension Agent-Entomology in1989; Deputy Chancellor's Award of Excellence-Extension Team in1993; Clean Texas 2000 Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence (Agriculture) in 1996 and USDA Group Honor Award for Excellence in 1996. |
