Scientific name: Estigmene acrea (Drury)
Facts: Saltmarsh caterpillar adult males and females differ.
Females have white hind wings and males have yellow hind wings. The
caterpillars have a very fuzzy appearance and attack a wide variety of
plants including cotton.
