Scientific name: Family Tineidae
(Lepidoptera: Tineidae)

Facts: Clothes moth adults are yellowish or buff-colored and have a wingspread of about 1/2 inch. Adults do not eat, but larvae damage clothes with their chewing mouthparts. Full-grown larvae are about 1/2 inch long and almost hairless. Their bodies are white, except for dark heads.
