Squash Bug

Scientific name: Anasa tristis (De Geer)
(Heteroptera: Coreidae)

Facts: The squash bug is an elongate-flattened, oval, blackish brown bug about 2/3 inch long. Squash bugs are serious pests of squash and pumpkins.
